Braehead Foods is thrilled to announce the resounding success of our recent event, “A Culinary Affair,” held at the iconic Hampden Park on Monday, 16th September. The event brought together a vibrant mix of familiar faces and new connections, creating a buzz of excitement throughout the day.
A Day of Culinary Excellence
From 10am to 3:30pm, Hampden Park transformed into a culinary haven, showcasing Scotland’s finest produce and offering a unique platform for guests to experience an exceptional range of local and national food. The event featured live demonstrations, an array of delicious offerings from our Production Kitchen team, and engaging interactions with many of our trusted suppliers.
Attendees were treated to an impressive line-up of activities, including insightful demonstrations from renowned figures in the food industry. The day was further enriched by the chance to win a range of incredible prizes, such as a trip to Milan, a £100 Bill’s voucher, and a tasting menu for two at Unalome, all of which were generously donated by our trusted partners.
A Gathering of Trusted Partners
One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity to see so many valued suppliers under one roof. The presence of companies such as Riso Gallo, Essential Cuisine, Belazu, Blackthorn Salt, Callebaut, and Highland Game provided attendees with a comprehensive view of the exceptional products available through Braehead Foods.
In particular, the presence of the Reynolds Group companies—Solstice, Carnivore, Davin Foods, and Shoal—offered a fantastic opportunity for customers to explore the full range of benefits now available as part of the Reynolds Group. This unprecedented showcase highlighted the enhanced offerings and extensive benefits that come from being part of the UK’s largest independently owned greengrocer network.
A Showcase of Expertise
The event featured captivating demonstrations, including those by esteemed pastry chef Stefan Rose, who dazzled attendees with his innovative techniques using MSK products. Riso Gallo explained the meticulous process behind their exceptional risotto varieties, and Highland Fine Cheeses shared their award-winning cheeses, further adding to the day’s appeal.
Our Head of Food, Stuart Leslie, and his expert team were on hand to offer tasters of our new range of Production Kitchen products, demonstrating how our solutions can help chefs save time and reduce costs without sacrificing quality or flavour.
A New Chapter for Braehead Foods
“A Culinary Affair” marked a significant milestone for Braehead Foods and the Reynolds Group. The event provided an unparalleled opportunity for customers to engage with a diverse range of products and suppliers, reinforcing our commitment to delivering quality and service excellence.
