Millers Larder is a true family business, proudly handmade in Ayrshire by classically trained chefs Jean and George Miller. Their award-winning Perfyit Piccalilli is inspired by a cherished family recipe, passed down through four generations of women—Jean’s grandmother Peg, her mother Stella, Jean herself, and now her daughters, Claire and Rachel.
The traditional preserving techniques and kitchen values taught by Peg and Stella remain central to the way Jean and George make every batch today. Combined with their professional training and chef insight, those handed-down methods give Perfyit Piccalilli its bold, mustard-rich flavour and signature crunch.
Supplied in a 1L tub for use in professional kitchens, it’s perfect alongside pies, charcuterie, terrines, and cheese. It also features in our own Production Kitchen Scottish Venison, Perfyit Piccalilli & Rosemary Sausage Roll—where it brings brightness and bite to the mix.
