Last week, we were pleased to host two fantastic days with our friends at MSK Ingredients, giving chefs from across Scotland the chance to explore new techniques and products.
The first event took place at Hearts FC in Edinburgh, where chefs gathered in the stadium to enjoy a day of demonstrations and discussion. The following day, we welcomed guests to Braehead Foods HQ for a second instalment, bringing the same energy and creativity to our home base.
Across both days, MSK chefs Rupert and Sam led two sessions—one pastry-focused and one savoury—showcasing innovative ways their ingredients can be used in professional kitchens.
Between sessions, our Production Kitchen team served a taster lunch, highlighting the latest additions to our chef-led range. This gave guests the opportunity to sample the quality, consistency and flavour we build into every product.
The events finished with an open Q&A with Rupert and Sam, followed by MSK sample boxes for chefs to take away and try in their own kitchens. Both days were a great success, filled with knowledge-sharing, new ideas and fantastic food.
